We are Wild Natured

Our vision - A world where nature is treated as essential infrastructure

+Restless

+Driven

+Spirited

  • Nature is our greatest asset

We treat it as precious, valuable and essential. In a world that runs on money, we help nature thrive.

  • Turning ideas into real outcomes

We unlock buyers, funding, clarity and momentum. By connecting stakeholders across the entire landscape, we move nature projects from concept to delivery.

  • Moving beyond design to delivery

We provide the commercial framework that ensures every project has the momentum and funding to not only get off the ground, but to reach maturity.

Our team

Spirited, restless, and driven by possibility.

We make complexity clear, translating the system simply to give our partners the confidence to act.

Dave Caygill

Director & Co-Founder

Dave co-founded Wild Natured in 2023, leading the development of nature-based infrastructure and blended finance models that connect environmental resilience with commercial delivery.

He specialises in translating complex environmental challenges into investable, cross-sector partnerships that align public policy, private finance and place-based resilience.

Dave is co-director of the FloodAction Coalition and is a trustee of the Ecosystems Knowledge Network. He is also a UK Design Council Expert and a Cannes Lions Innovation Award winner.

His one Wild Nature: It’s all about the apples. Growing them, harvesting them, pressing them by foot and turning them into possibly the best cider out there.

Rachel Morgan

Director & Co-Founder

Rachel co-founded Wild Natured alongside Dave, and leads natural capital project development across water resilience and biodiversity net gain, working with infrastructure, public, and private sector clients including Network Rail, Defra, and Wildfarmed.

Previously, Rachel led multi-million-pound renewable investment cases across solar PV and hydrogen, building a strong track record in infrastructure investment and the development of emerging asset classes.

Rachel also leads delivery of the FloodAction Coalition Project Accelerator – a cross-sector initiative bringing together insurers, infrastructure operators, land managers, government and finance to unlock investment into natural flood management.

Her one Wild Nature: Hiking is my first love. This year I’ve climbed Mount Kenya and walked the Camino de Santiago in Portugal. To witness the awe of nature and to be reminded of how small we are is a great leveller.

Kate Terriere

Senior Programme Manager

Kate is a nature and sustainability strategist with more than 25 years of experience designing multi‑million pound programmes that integrate natural capital, climate resilience and inclusive growth. She is known for translating complex challenges into clear plans and delivering commercial, environmental and social value with integrity and purpose. At Wild Natured, Kate leads our largest regional delivery programmes.

Her one Wild Nature: I feel most alive in nature and among wildlife, and I’m deeply passionate about protecting and restoring the natural world - especially the African savannah, whose vast beauty and wild spirit nourish and feed my soul.

Archie Ward

Natural Capital Project Consultant

Archie has a sharp mix of climate strategy, on-the-ground conservation experience, and commercial thinking. From supporting carbon footprinting and market analysis during an internship at the Carbon Trust, to working on biodiversity strategies and land management projects, he operates where ecology meets economics. At Wild Natured he manages our project pipeline, and works closely with project developers and land managers to unlock investable opportunities across landscapes.

His one Wild Nature: For me, it’s all about the lightning thread – the hidden connection that runs through nature. The same instinct that drives a salmon home is what drives me to protect and restore the wild places that shape us.

Matt Punyer

Finance Lead

Matt is a finance leader with more than 15 years of experience driving strategic impact across charities and purpose-led organisations. He has considerable experience in leading finance functions, shaping long-term strategy, and enabling sustainable growth. Matt combines commercial insight with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, supporting organisations to scale impact, strengthen resilience, and deliver meaningful, lasting change.

His one Wild Nature: I love the sound and sight of waterfalls, a reminder of the vital role clean, protected waterways play in sustaining ecosystems, communities, and long-term environmental resilience.
